Review on Shiver
By: Tianna Haskell
The book I’ve been reading in my computer class is called Shiver it was written by Maggie Stiefvater. This book is about a young girl in high school named Grace; the town she lives in has a wolf problem. The wolves in this town have attacked more than one person; Grace being one of them. Despite her attack Grace is still drawn to the wolves. There’s something about the wolves that she is interested by. When the wolves start to become endangered Grace does everything in her will to try and save them. No one in the town will believe her when she says the wolves aren’t dangerous. While doing this she is losing the people who are closest to her.
I enjoyed reading this book because the story line of this book is interesting and very different from other books. When I was reading this book it felt as if I was in the same place as Grace. It takes you into a whole other world. Maggie Steifvater did an excellent job in describing how the different characters felt and how the setting was. Overall this was a really great book to read.
