I am Number four is about a planet called Lorean, the inhabitants include smart people and then The Garde, which are people who have powers.All Garde members have super speed, super strength and telekinesis. Lorean is invaded by Mogadorians, who wipe out the population. Nine enfants and their cepans escaped on a ship that arrived at earth. The Elders of Lorean cast a spell on the nine enfants that they can only be killed in order. One to nine. The story focuses on Number Four.Numbers One, Two, and Three are dead. Number four and his cepan, Henri move to Paradise, California.There Number four’s powers start to develop.His powers include, telekinesis, can talk to animals, can create light from his palms or fire. Eventually he meets a kid named Sam who is crazy about aliens and eventually finds out Number fours from a different planet. Number four also meets a girl named Serah Hart, who is later his girlfriend. Later in the book, the Mogadorians invade Number fours school in hopes of capturing and killing him. Number four, Henri, Serah, and Sam are all trapped in the school. Eventually the Mogadorians find them and attack. The Mogadorians are then all killed by an invisible person. This person is Number Six. Number four, Number six and Sam go looking for the others at the end.
