The book, City of Glass, is a fantasy/ romance and is written by Cassandra Clare. This book is jam packed of action, and once you start reading it you can’t put it down. This book is about a world where there are normal human beings who are oblivious that there are werewolves, vampires, shadow hunters, warlocks and feiries walking amongst them. In this book, shadow hunters are the head and are in control, while vampires and werewolves are considered downworlders and not very liked by the shadow hunters. A shadow hunter named Valentine has turned evil and wants to open the portal to the demon world and let them loose so that he can be in control. This causes the downworlders and the shadow hunters to come together to fight Valentine before he opens it. At the same time Jace believes that he is Valentine’s son but then realizes that he isn’t… Sebastian is and he’s part demon because he was one of Valentine’s experiments. Then he has to fight against his brother that he didn’t even knew he had, and maybe even kill him. Who is Jace then? I really loved the mortal instrument series and I would recommend them to you. These books are so intense and they have really good vivid description. I could read them over and over again.
