The Perks Of Being A Wallflower by Stephanie Balerud
The Perks Of Being A Wallflower is a story
written by Stephen Chbosky.
The book was written an interesting way in my
perspective. A young boy names Charlie writes letters in his diar every now and
then. He begins each letter by "Dear friend," because he isn't positive who he's
writing to. He's just writting about pretty much everything, literally. Charlie
would write about what happened that day or week, his thoughts, emotions and
past times.
It's about Charlie's life at school and his relationship
with his teacher at first. His teacher thinks he's gifted and assigns extra
books to Charlie and homework, which he enjoys. He is encouraged by his teacher
to participate in life more and make more friends. Once he does, that's when
everything starts going crazy in his life. Which brings him back to come bad
points of his childhood.
Throughout the book you realize Charlie change
and develop as a human being. Also you notice about how high school and college
can effect a person's life. It's a truly terrific book and I'll possibly read it
many more times. The way it's written couldn't have been chosen possibly any
better. In my opinion, I'd say it's definitely a must read.
