City of Fallen Angels by Becky Holmes

City of Fallen Angels
Cassandra Clare
The book City of Fallen Angels was a book full of adventure. It was hard to put down because there was a new adventure on every page. The plot of the book was very interesting, as in the other books in the serious. I have read almost all the books by Cassandra Clare and by far this was the best. It follows the life of a girl named Clary who recently found out she was a shadowhunter. She fell in love with a fellow shadowhunter Jace. Clary is the antagonist’s son. He is a rouge shadowhunter and the book focuses on the results of a rebellion he started. The description in the book makes the characters come to life and feel so real. Along the way Clary runs into many obstacles as she has in every book in the Mortal Instruments series. Some of the obstacles are Jace is controlled by another antagonist, her best friend Simon, who was recently turned into a daylight vampire, is persuaded by many different vampires to join their side. Clary’s mother also is now married to a werewolf Luke. To summarize this book is really great and I’d recommended it.
